Govt ready facilitate educational institutions with modern teaching facilities: Barrister Sultan
Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has said that government was ready to provide all possible help to educational institutions that offer modern teaching facilities to students in Azad Kashmir.“To equip educational institutions with best facilities has been our top most priority and government is ready to provide all possible assistance and support in this regard”, the AJK president said this while addressing the third convocation of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Medical College here on Thursday. The President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi also attended the convocation. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “I am extremely satisfied and happy to know that Azad Jammu and Kashmir Medical College has chosen Integrated Spiral Modular System based on modern teaching methodology”.He said that the Medical College has become a role model for other educational institutions in Azad Kashmir. In his word of advice, the AJK president urged the graduating students to reaffirm their commitment to uphold moral values, make humanity their motto and play their full role in alleviating the hardships faced by humanity today.
In his address on the occasion, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry also urged them not to forget the people hailing from lower segments of the society. “Don’t forget to dedicate a portion of your earnings for the uplift of poor and needy people in your respective areas”, he added.“I would also urge the Government to further improve facilities being provided to the doctors stationed in remote and backward areas so that they can serve the people well”. He also congratulated the students and their parents and wished them success and prosperity in their practical life”.
