India hurdles to give Kashmiris right to self-determination: AJK President
Rawalpindi, (ZNN TV) : Addressing a special meeting of the Kashmir Contact Group of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at Parliament House Islamabad, Azad Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that the Kashmir issue has been unresolved for seven decades and UN resolutions have also been passed in this regard. India is constantly violating these resolutions. India refuses to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination. Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry further said that OIC should play its role for the release of political leaders and youth in occupied Kashmir. The OIC should play its role in giving Kashmiris the right to self-determination as well as in ending the oppression and barbarism in occupied Kashmir and imposing economic sanctions there. On this occasion, the President of Azad Kashmir also proposed to set up a Humanitarian Train Fund for OIC Kashmiris. Syed Faiz Naqshbandi from All Parties Hurriyat Conference in OIC Kashmir Coordination Group also gave a briefing on the occasion and Ghulam Muhammad Safi briefed the OIC Secretary General on the ongoing human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir. He also presented a memorandum.
