Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that nowadays the accused in the Model Town tragedy are under the protection of the Punjab government. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will address an important press conference on June 15 at 2 pm at the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Model Town, Lahore. He said that he was saddened by the Punjab government’s lack of interest in justice for the Model Town tragedy. He said that the Punjab government was providing protection to the police officers involved in the tragedy. However, our martyred workers are always in front of our eyes, justice is our only demand. He said that the next course of action will be decided on June 17.
