Advisor to PM Ayub Afridi meets Shaukat Yousafzai
Peshawar: Advisor to the PM on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Mr Ayub Afridi called on Labour Minister KPK Mr Shaukat Yousafzai at his office today and deliberated on the devolution of Workers Welfare Fund according to the 18th amendment.
Mr Ayub Afridi said that it is essential to come up with a mechanism for devolution of WWF and all provinces must actively participate in the process to take over their responsibility. He stated that for better welfare of the workers it is necessary that they be looked after by their concerned provincial workers welfare boards.
Mr Shaukat Yousafzai said that the provinces are ready to take over and will working in coordination with the federal ministry for effective transfer of assets and responsibilities.
Both the dignitaries then visited Working-Folks grammar schools to evaluate the standards of education being imparted in students. Mr. Ayub Afridi said that quality education is necessary for prosperity of our country and its people. He said that the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis is ready and will accomplish more than 1 million jobs target in his tenure provided that we get quality human resource. He applauded the administration of Working-Folks Grammar schools and gave them motivation to work harder.
