People would be provided welfare system in every section: Sardar Tanveer Ilyas

Islamabad,   (ZNN TV) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Kashmir president and senior minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan took stern notice of the closure of Tian Dhalkot road and the incident of a passenger coach getting stuck in a landslide. On the orders of president PTI AJK, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Poonch and XEN highways rushed the machinery to the spot and started the rescue operation.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan expressed concern over the situation and said that he was in constant touch with the Punjab government and arrangements were being made for the transportation of passengers. He instructed relevant departments to be always ready in order to deal with any emergency situation in all districts in case of rain and snowfall. He further instructed them to ensure availability of machinery for rehabilitation of link roads including main highways and take all possible steps to keep business life running smoothly.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan also directed the concerned departments including the administration, tourism department and State Disaster Management Authority that in order to protect the citizens and tourists during rains and snowfall, they should inform them about the weather conditions at all inland places for the safety of them during the expected rains and snowfall. “Any damage to life / property / infrastructure should be immediately reported to the concerned authorities. Landslides are likely on various highways including Neelum, Jhelum, Poonch, Haveli and Bagh districts of Poonch and Muzaffarabad divisions,” he said.

He also said that the confidence of the people of Azad Kashmir in PTI was a golden opportunity for government to put the slogan of change of Prime Minister Imran Khan in a practical way and establish a high standard of governance. “We will give the people a system that will ensure the welfare of every human being living here, especially the poor and the weaker sections,” he said.
