KARACHI (Dunya News) – Customs Intelligence conducted an operation in Sindh on Friday and recovered a large quantity of smuggled Chalia and Indian Gutka.
According to details, the illegal goods recovered during the raids in Goth Kundu and Umerkot included 56 metric tonnes of blister causing chalia and more than 48,000 packets of Indian Gutka. The total value of the smuggled goods is more than Rs 150 million.
According to officials, the suspects hid the smuggled goods in two warehouses. A case has been registered against the unidentified smugglers and further investigation has been initated.
